Last night was the season opener of HWNYC. So this is going to be like a cleansing type of post. A way to once and for all switch the channel. Let me start off saying I dislike all of them. I dislike the manipulation by Bravo to make LuAnn the new pot stirrer now that Jill is gone–just pathetic. Ramona is now even harder for me to look at with her really weird eyes. They are spooky, scary. The new additions are lame and homely. In fact everyone is homely excerpt LuAnn.
So why do people think they are attractive? Because they are skinny, thin. So the philosophical question is: if a woman is beautiful but a little hefty is that trumped by super skinny and ugly? And what about fat and ugly? Ok the PC description–overweight and plain. Do we throw them away? Where are they on these shows? Yes, there are the blessed ones who are skinny and beautiful, but what are they doing for that–plastic surgery and starvation?
Anyway, there is no appeal to this season. I’m hoping that if I change the channel others will follow and this crap will get cancelled.
I know I watch NJ because I used to live there and I have driven down those same roads–but even that show is becoming boring, stupid, and completely low-life trashy.
Beverly Hills? Well at least most of them have good looks. But we’ll see.
I may finally be overcoming my addiction–YEA!!!
Maybe if I turn that junk off, I’ll get my third novel finished.
